Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will be in his/her late 30's or early 40's and will be able to demonstrate proven experience in Trade and End consumer marketing of top European/American brands preferable in the highest price ranges
- Must be able to manage a sales team and marketing team. Strong teamwork qualities, be hardworking and inspired team would be appropriate
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Specific experience needed in following areas:
- Marketing knowledge
- Retail knowledge
- Managing sales rep in all over Japan. (13 people)
- Supervising Media/Media Briefing
- Supervising Advertising
- Supervising Sales Events/ PR Events/ Promotions/ Fairs/Exhibitions/ Joint Promotions
- Classical Trade Marketing
- POS management
- Trade Fairs
- Training seminars

Specific Notes:
The client is very strong in Trade Marketing and gaisho-type sales - so called push marketing and there is a perceived need to increase the strength of pull marketing through more direct contact with end consumers. This would typically be done by increasing the number of co-marketing opportunities with other brands, more collectors' evenings, strengthening relations with media, more PR events etc.
It is also anticipated that the client will open their own boutiques in the future.
